It is with great pleasure that we bring to
you this seventh issue of GuppyLabs e-Bulletin.
We are pleased to continue to have the support
of writers like Chris Ng, Rosario Arijón,
Sergio Chaim and Luke Roebuck, and are also
grateful to Joe Grimes, Robert Gall, and Alessandro
Cellerino for their contributions. It is participation
like this that makes this bulletin possible
and gives it international character.
As an announcement of something to come,
we are getting ready to update our gene table
we published in April 2005. We are going to
include photographs of guppies using a microscope
to try to elucidate the 3-D structure of phenotypes
in eh guppy skin, with respect to color, and
of the fins and other structures, with respect
to shape. If all goes well, we should have
an awesome new article in October 2005. If
you are interested in participating, please
let us know. We are forming a genetics discussion
group in our forum for that purpose. Stay
tuned for announcements.
