Welcome to GuppyLabs, a web site dedicated to Poecilia reticulata and the international community of guppy enthusiasts.

Our Original Mission

Provide a web-based space to share accurate and up-to-date information about guppy husbandry, guppy nutrition, guppy genetics and genetic management, guppy diseases and health management, fishroom design and maintenance, judging standards, international guppy news, and more.

Our Recent Past

For a little over two years, we published quarterly e-bulletins. We assembled a great group of writers and became a tight community. We lost our first forum, and did not set up a new forum.  We were translated into several languages, including Japanese, Russian, and others. Some of our articles and interviews are one of a kind. And our technical articles are great reference resources.

Our Future

Work will continue on an ad-hoc basis. Hopefully we can generate interest in this website again by publishing work done in an attempt to upscale to commercial production of high-quality guppy strains.

We will also be publishing some of our work in Spanish in another website.  We will link information published in Spanish in that other website in our forum here for those that may be interested.
