We have been very, very busy since we published the January issue of this Guppy Labs e-Bulletin, and regret not being able to include more articles on this issue. We were so busy we didn't even have time to put an abstract section on this April 2005 issue. And I think we are not the only ones who have been busy because four articles that were promised and due to come out in April 2005 did not get to us by the time of this printing. Hopefully we will be able to publish them in July 2005.

But not all is about quantity. The articles included on this April 2005 issue are quite informative and great reading material. We hope you enjoy reading. We want to thank Tomoko for her hard work and multiple publications. We wish her well and even if she is retiring from the hobby, we hope that she will continue to be around. Please visit our forum periodically Tomoko, and help us figure things out. We will miss you! But thanks to your article on experimental crosses, we now know some of your secrets... ;)

We also want to thank Mr. Shinichi Kobayashi for granting us another valuable interview, and providing us with yet another view into his operation. Thank you Tomoko for conducting and translating the interview. Also, thank you Ramona for allowing us to reprint your great article about guppy color mutations in English. We think your article will stimulate interesting discussions. Thanks to Mr. Yap of Guppies Centre of Singapore for giving us a peak into his operation. Chris Ng promises to get us more interviews of local Singaporean guppy farms. Also, thank you Champ for your article as well. We are delighted to have articles about guppy farming in Singapore and Thailand. We hope we can follow up on all these great articles with discussions in our forum.

We are going to begin having chat sessions every other week to discuss articles published in this and past issues. We hope you will participate. This is a group effort folks, we'll get out of it what we put into it. We are tired, short of time, and need to get this out today. We will write more later. Enjoy and please participate in the forthcoming forum discussions.
